Jack Shephard Finally Battles the Smoke Monster (Kinda, but Not Really)

The way Matthew Fox’s movie career is going, J.J. Abrams and the Lost gang better wrap that island story up quick, because they might be losing themselves their leading man very soon. The latest news from the island has Matthew Fox jumping on board as leading man of an action movie based on an as-yet-unpublished comic book by B. Clay Moore and Eric Kim called “Billy Smoke”; the would-be film would see Fox playing a hitman who, after a close call, gets an epiphany and decides it’s his mission in life to rid the world of fellow hitmen. Which doesn’t really make a whole lot of sense, but I’m sure the comic books will make a little bit more sense. Or, actually, as much sense as comic books usually do, anyways.
This brief logline from Yahoo! tries to explain things:
The story centers on an elite hit-man who is nearly killed during a botched job. He realizes that his only way to find redemption is to rid the world of all assassins.
The comic book series, written by B. Clay Moore and illustrated by Eric Kim, will published by Oni Press in 2009. Moore’s books have a knack of getting snapped up by Hollywood, with his comic “Leading Man,” another Oni title, being developed at Universal and his “Hawaiian Dick” set up at New Line.
So what, does he find God? Did he see angels after his close call? Time, and $10 bucks of your hard earned money, will tell. Or you can just keep reading the Internet when some kid sends in a spoiler filled review to AICN. Either/or.

What do you mean the way his career is going? He’s in one flop after another and has the acting talent of a wooden mannequin.
Why do people keep casting this dull dodo?
