Jackie Chan’s Little Big Soldier Coming to UK DVD, Blu-Ray

I loved Sheng Ding’s martial arts comedy “Little Big Soldier”, due in part to my somewhat unhealthy obsession with the motion pictures of Jackie Chan. And while the film is saddled with a somewhat misleading title — it seems more like a family movie a la “The Spy Next Door” than a balls-out martial arts comedy — it is, perhaps, the strongest Chinese effort Chan has unleashed upon the masses in quite some time. Fortunately for UK fans, “Little Big Soldier” is scheduled to hit retail shelves in your neck of the proverbial woods on November 8th. The features are listed below this snazzy cluster of words and ideas.

  • Dolby Digital Mandarin 2.0 & 5.1 soundtracks
  • English Subtitles
  • Audio Commentary by Hong Kong Cinema Expert: Bey Logan
  • Trailer Gallery – including a first look at the ‘Ip Man 2′ trailer
  • Interview Gallery
  • x7 Making Of Gallery
  • x20 On Set Report Gallery
  • Behind The Scenes
  • Jackie Chan Music Video

If you haven’t seen the movie yet, by all means, check it out as soon as it streets. To aid you in your quest for Jackie Chan-related bliss, the artwork has been provided below to make locating it that much easier.

Todd was raised on a steady diet of Hollywood blockbusters, late-night Cinemax programming, and USA’s “Up All Night,” which may explain why his taste in movies is more than a little questionable. When he isn’t providing news and reviews for Beyond Hollywood, he can be found lounging lazily on his couch, perched in front of his television, or dwelling in places where direct sunlight can be easily avoided. He's happily married, in his 30's, and totally badass. If you'd like to reach Todd, you can follow him on Twitter or send him email/scoops to todd (at) beyondhollywood.com.
