Not content to just play the sidekick of a hero on TV, Heroes star James Kyson Lee wants to shed his Ando image for a real hero — by playing Yamcha in Fox’s upcoming live-action “Dragon Ball Z” movie. James Kyson Lee made the announcement to fans at the Pacific Media Expo in Los Angeles on November 11th, telling them he had auditioned for the role, but didn’t say if he had gotten it. The film was recently announced as a live action movie to be directed by James Wong of X-Files and “Final Destination” fame. Also according to Lee, the movie is scheduled for a 2010 release, which would make my 2008 prediction sort of optimistic.
