James Remar Joins Goyer’s Unborn

James Remar, one of the stars of Showtime’s Dexter TV series, has joined the cast of David Goyer’s “Unborn”. The cast of the Holocaust-theme movie already includes Gary Oldman, Carla Gugino, and “Cloverfield” star Odette Yustman. In the film, Yustman stars as a young woman who must fight a ghostly spirit that is slowly taking possession of her. Oldman is the priest who helps out, and Gugino is her mother.


James Remar has signed onto David S. Goyer’s “Unborn,” starring Gary Oldman and Carla Gugino. He’ll next be seen in the Judd Apatow-produced “Pineapple Express.”Photoplayers

Remar played the father of Dexter’s titular character, a serial killer who kills bad guys. Remar’s father, a cop, realizes his son’s dark personality early on, and instead of turning him in, teaches him to go after the bad guys to satiate his murderous appetite. Now that’s a good dad!
