You can add Jamie Chung, Christian Serratos and Scout Taylor-Compton to the cast of Takashi Shimizu’s airborne horror film “Flight 7500”.
“7500” concerns a group of passengers onboard a transpacific flight to Tokyo who encounter supernatural shenanigans when one of them dies mid-flight. Don’t you hate it when that happens?
“Sucker Punch’s” Chung will play Suzy Lee, a newly-engaged flight attendant onboard the doomed flight, while Serratos (“The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1”) will play Raquel Mendoza, another passenger on the plane, one with a secret. Taylor-Compton (Rob Zombie’s “Halloween” remakes) rounds out the new additions as Jacinta Beckett, a character with “a unique perspective on death”, whatever that means.
The threesome join Leslie Bibb, Ryan Kwanten and Amy Smart in the cast.
Shimizu, most famous for the “Grudge” movies in his native Japan and the Hollywood remakes, will direct from a script by Craig Rosenberg for CBS Films.
Look for the doomed flight to take off August 31, 2012.
