Jamie Foxx in White House Down (2013) Movie Image

In the first clip from Roland Emmerich’s “White House Down”, Barack Obama — er, I mean, Jamie Foxx — wields a rocket launcher as the President of the United States. Unfortunately for John McClane — er, I mean, Channing Tatum’s character John Cale, POTUS also loses the rocket launcher. Hey, he’s really into peace, so you know, allowances must be made when it comes to weapons.

Check out your first clip from “White House Down”, the second “Die Hard in the White House” movie in 2013. This one looks funnier than “Olympus Has Fallen”, but that’s probably not saying much.

n Columbia Pictures’ White House Down, Capitol Policeman John Cale (Channing Tatum) has just been denied his dream job with the Secret Service of protecting President James Sawyer (Jamie Foxx). Not wanting to let down his little girl with the news, he takes her on a tour of the White House, when the complex is overtaken by a heavily armed paramilitary group. Now, with the nation’s government falling into chaos and time running out, it’s up to Cale to save the president, his daughter, and the country.

Starring Channing Tatum, Jamie Foxx, Maggie Gyllenhaal, James Woods, Richard Jenkins, Rachelle Lefevre, Joey King, Lance Reddick, Garcelle Beauvais, Jason Clarke, and Jake Weber.

The white house goes down this month June 28, 2013.
