Love them or hate them, those crazy kids with their spiked hair and glowing balls are back with what looks like the very first official Japanese movie poster. That’s right, kids and kidettes, it’s an honest to goodness official something from James Wong’s “Dragonball” movie — a poster from Japan. Maybe. The guys at DBtheMovie aren’t really sure, but they seem to think it’s the real thing. Maybe. Or not. Eh, you guys hash this stuff up, I’m gonna go grab a Red Bull.
The story begins with a young humanoid boy named Goku, who discovers that he was sent to Earth to blend in and destroy our population but instead elects to protect it from an oncoming alien onslaught bent on dominating the universe and controlling the mystical objects. He seeks out upon his adoptive grandfather Grandpa Gohan’s dying request to find the great Master Roshi and gather all seven Dragon Balls. Of which he has one, in order to prevent the evil Lord Piccolo from succeeding in his desire to use the Dragon Balls to take over the world. And Goku’s quest is to obtain the mystical Dragonballs before Piccolo does.

Can’t be as bad as the live action version that was done by HK/China in the 90’s.
Depends on what you refer to as bad. In terms of effects the Chinese one may be bad, but in the case of adapting the story the Hollywood one’s blown the ranking of badness.
The 90’s version was bad all around. People are judging the movie eventhough it hasn’t come out yet. How can you judge something you haven’t even seen yet? Why, because the costumes are different than the Anime? No one looks exactly like their Anime counterpart? Of course the storyline has been changed, that’s Hollywood.

God you guys are killing me! it seems like you guys have seen the freakin movie already. Some of you guys are really hard to please, why can’t we just realax and wait till the movie is out, then judge the f@^*n thing. This movie is based on a manga series but the movie has to be based on real life. There so many things that can’t be done in real life that can be easily done with cartoons and comics and plus they have re-write the whole DB series for a 2hr movie, of course some details has to be taken out of the original version and put new ones that apply in reality. So bash this movie when you’ve seen but fot now just wait and see.

Why should people be pleased with something that’s doing nothing but ruining what they cherish and hold sacred?
were just saying the poster looks stupid, so that might reflect the movie. i think its gunna be a big dissapointment just by how stupid the poster looks

hey man, if dragon ball is doing nothing, then you have nothing to worry about it.
you act like this movie killed you mom or something like that, and it haven’t even came out yet, so just let it come out first and then you can make fun of it if it’s really as bad as you think, or else just stop acting like you can see the future
I would say some people just live lives without living. They have nothing precious and sacred, and dropping dead or tomorrow makes no difference to them.
