Via YouTube, check out a second Japanese trailer for M. Night Shyamalan’s “The Last Airbender”. There’s a lot of the same footage in the early going, but in the second half there are some new action sequences from the movie that gives the film that epic feel Shyamalan is obviously going for. Let’s face it: kids are going to love this movie. Hopefully there’s something for the adults who have never heard of the cartoon, too.

Air, Water, Earth, Fire. Four nations tied by destiny when the Fire Nation launches a brutal war against the others. A century has passed with no hope in sight to change the path of this destruction. Caught between combat and courage, Aang (Noah Ringer) discovers he is the lone Avatar with the power to manipulate all four elements. Aang teams with Katara (Nicola Peltz), a Waterbender, and her brother, Sokka (Jackson Rathbone), to restore balance to their war-torn world. Based on the hugely successful Nickelodeon animated TV series, the live-action feature film “The Last Airbender” is the opening chapter in Aang’s struggle to survive.

Starring Jackson Rathbone, Dev Patel, Cliff Curtis, Seychelle Gabriel, Noah Ringer, Nicola Peltz, Shaun Toub, Jessica Andres, Aasif Mandvi, Katharine Houghton, Keong Sim, and directed by M. Night Shyamalan.

No idea what the narrator was saying except for the thing about the elelments in the begining but it was more epic than any of the English ones. Can't wait.

More Hollywood whitewashing. The series is based on Asian culture but how many Asian actors do we see?

Funny thing is if you watch the asian cartoon, everyone looks western.
