What, those pictures of a fat headed Jason Statham didn’t get you all riled up and ready to see “Crank 2: High Voltage”? What’s it gonna take, more nearly naked pictures of Amy Smart? Okay, we don’t have that, but we do have this first official pic of Jason Statham from the movie. Yup, Chev Chelios is very much alive, and still pissed off from the looks of it. Dude needs to relax. He’ll pop a vein or something.

Having miraculously survived his plummet from a helicopter in the previous chapter, our hero Chev Chelios now face a Chinese mobster who has stolen his nearly indestructible heart and replaced it with a battery-powered ticker that requires regular jolts of electricity to keep working.

Amy Smart is back to help out with getting those jolts (so to speak), and so is country singer turned creepy ass actor Dwight Yoakam. They are joined by Corey Haim (yes, friggin Corey Haim), Efren Ramirez, Bai Ling, and Clifton Collins Jr.

The partners Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor are also back behind the camera.

“Crank 2″ is due out April 17, 2009.
