Jason Statham Gets a Big Head in Crank 2

The boys and girls over at the LA Times (I hear tell they’re actual, you know, real journalists and junk) have some new, official pictures from the set of “Crank 2: High Voltage”, the sequel to Jason Statham’s surprised hit from a few years back. “Crank” was a hit, wasn’t it? Well, it was a enough of a hit (i.e. it turned a profit) that someone has given Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor more money to make a sequel, despite the fact that, well, the last time we saw Chev Chelios (played by Jason Statham) he was plummeting to his death from a helicopter.

Are these pictures the result of said plunge to the death? Probably not. Probably some drug-induced nightmare sequence, if a twisted looking Chev looking all gigantic and slugging it out with some dude is any indication.
