Jeremy Renner and Gemma Arterton are Pleather Wearing Witch Hunters

Who knew Hansel and Gretel would grow up to be such badass looking, black pleather-sporting adults? Check out your first look at Jeremy Renner and Gemma Arterton as the witch-hunting siblings in Tommy Wirkola’s “re-imagining” of the fairytale, which catches up with the duo 15 years after their run-in with the witch in the wood. Now adults, the kids are all grown up and making a living as professional witch hunters, and from the looks of these set images, they’ve dressed appropriately for the gig.

“Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters” is due out in 2012, and will also star Famke Janssen as the siblings’ foil, and Peter Stormare as a crooked lawman. Tommy Wirkola, famous for his undead Nazi zombie movie “Dead Snow”, is making his Hollywood debut on the film.
