Jesse Eisenberg and Dakota Fanning are Eco Terrorists in Night Moves

Dakota FanningHey, if you needed two people to be the face of your eco terrorist movement, I suppose you could do a lot worst than the photogenic duo of Jesse Eisenberg and Dakota Fanning.

The two actors are currently in talks to co-star in Kelly Reichardt’s indie thriller “Night Moves”. Reichardt also wrote the script, about three eco-terrorists who plot to blow up a dam. Eisenberg would play the group’s ringleader, while Fanning is all grown up and playing a wealthy young girl who funds them, no doubt with a big generous donation from daddy’s wallet.

The third castmember is Peter Sarsgaard, who will play the man who makes the bomb.

Eisenberg and Fanning replace Paul Dano (who starred in Reichardt’s 2010 movie “Meek’s Cutoff”) and Rooney Mara (“The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo” remake), respectively, who were attached to the film earlier in the year. Not anymore.

Production on “Night Moves” is expected to kick off this October in Oregon.

Eisenberg’s got Louis Leterrier’s “Now You See Me” coming up, while Fanning will help wrap up Summit’s “Twilight” franchise with “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2” later this year.
