As you’ll recall, in the first “Sin City” Jessica Alba played Nancy, a stripper who did a lot of dancing, but no actual stripping. Alba is back to reprise Nancy in Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller’s upcoming “Sin City 2: A Dame to Kill For” (along with a whole lotta people and new faces), and to hear her tell it, that whole “playing a stripper who doesn’t actually strip” thing is about to get more difficult. The dancing part, anyway.
The actress tells Vulture:
I had to learn a bunch of dance sequences for it. I do a lot more dancing in this one. It was kind of crazy. It was very, very difficult, and you’ll see why.
Apparently it was so difficult and “crazy” she had to spend three months just prepping for the gig. Honestly, I don’t know why you would need three months to learn how to do a strip dance. There’s a pole. Take your clothes off. Mission accomplished.
“Sin City 2″, also starring Josh Brolin, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Jamie Chung, Alexa Vega, Rosario Dawson, Mickey Rourke, Jaime King, Michael Madsen, and Dennis Haysbert, commits the ultimate sin (again) October 4, 2013.
