Jessica Biel Gets Psycho

Alfred Hitchcock and the Making of Psycho Book CoverYou can add Jessica Biel to the growing cast of “Alfred Hitchcock and the Making of Psycho”, director Sacha Gervasi’s behind-the-scenes look at Alfred Hitchcock and, well, the making of his most famous movie, “Psycho”.

Biel will play Vera Miles, the actress who played Lila Crane in the 1960 movie, opposite Anthony Hopkins as Hitchcock, Scarlett Johansson as Janet Leigh, Helen Mirren as Hitchcock’s wife Alma Reville, and James D’Arcy as the psycho himself, Anthony Perkins.

I’ve always been a fan of behind-the-scenes movies, and this one should be especially good given the cast. Or hell, at least with Biel and Johansson in the cast, it’ll be especially pretty. “Alfred Hitchcock and the Making of Psycho” will be based on the non-fiction book of the same name by Stephen Rebello.

Biel has the “Total Recall” remake in the pipeline, and I’m still waiting for someone to get a clue and cast this woman as Wonder Woman already. Have you seen her in “Blade: Trinity”? Jessica Biel can kick some ass. Plus, she’s got the guns for a superhero.

The casting is spot on. There’s another Hitchock bio-pic about the making of “The Birds” too.

Yeah I could see that. Scar-Jo as Leigh, not so much!
