Jodie Foster’s The Brave One Poster

By Nix | June 27, 2007 (12:08 am)

Via Comingsoon, here’s your first look at the poster (bigger version below) for the Jodie Foster revenge movie “The Brave One”. If you haven’t seen the trailer for this movie, head over here now. It’s so damn good it’s silly. Jodie Foster is going to win something for this movie, and if she doesn’t, well, it’s still looking like a killer performance and an all-around intense movie. Kinda like “Death Wish”, but with a pissed off Jodie Foster. The film stars Jodie Foster, Naveen Andrews, Terrence Howard, Mary Steenburgen, and is directed by Neil Jordan (of “Crying Game” fame).

In the psychological thriller, opening September 14, New York radio host Erica Bain (Foster) has a life that she loves and a fianc’ she adores. All of it is taken from her when a brutal attack leaves Erica badly wounded and her fianc’ dead. Unable to move past the tragedy, Erica begins prowling the city streets at night to track down the men she holds responsible. Her dark pursuit of justice catches the public’s attention, and the city is riveted by her anonymous exploits. But with the NYPD desperate to find the culprit and a dogged police detective (Howard) hot on her trail, she must decide whether her quest for revenge is truly the right path, or if she is becoming the very thing she is trying to stop.

“The Brave One” gets even September 14th, 2007.
