Johnny Depp Already Signed For Pirates of the Caribbean 4?

Apparently that’s the news of the day (or yesterday, as this new was posted here yesterday, but I, um, sort of missed it until Moviehole mentioned it), that Johnny Depp has signed on to reprise scurvy pirate Captain Jack Sparrow for a “Pirates of the Caribbean 4″, which may be a sequel, a prequel, or some other form of -quel. Of course no one has confirmed this yet, although Depp has said that he can’t get enough of Captain Jack Sparrow.
Here’s what Depp said:
“Doing the Pirates movies has been an absolute blast,” he says.
“I’m the luckiest guy in the world to have had such a great experience. If I walk away from Jack now, I’ll walk away with some amazing memories. But At World’s End leaves open the possibility of a fourth or fifth movie, which I wouldn’t be opposed to on an actor level because I feel there is a lot more territory to explore with Captain Jack.”
“I’ve never really felt I’m done with playing the character, so why shouldn’t we try a fourth and a fifth?”
Okay, so now I’m more prone to believe that Depp has, in fact, signed on for a Pirates 4 (and even 5).
But I am sure about one thing: Depp returns this Friday with “Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End”.

It better be a 4th! I assumed it would be, based on how the 3rd ended. I mean… nothing came to conclusion. Will and Elizabeth are actually expected to see each other once every 10 years? So that means she’ll get to see him maybe four times in her life and live as an spinster staring at the sea? Or are we to assume she’s taking her role as pirate King seriously. And Jack ends on a dingy by himself without the black pearl on to the same adventure as Barbosa? That’s a story in itself. And Tia Dalma… wasn’t she suppossed to exact her revenge against the pirates? All I saw was a whirlpool that sunk a ghost ship that popped back up better than new. That was her big revenge? And they did very little with Jack’s background. I mean I appreciate his father making a cameo, but they had no depth. No real history. He didn’t seem too upset about his mother being a shrunken head. It eneded just like the others, unfinished and leaving you wanting for more. Of course there will be another. Will and Elizabeth have to be in it. If only for her to get some fountain of youth and be able to sail the seas with Will forever. That’s their conclusion. (BTW, wasn’t it hot that they got married in the middle of a fierce battle, swirling to their doom by an infamous pirate captain who just so happened to try to kill them both multiple times?) Jack has to get the black pearl back and meet his match… in a woman. Tia has to be cooking something up. Something that the world has yet to see. Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned, so you think a Goddess will actually let everyone slide with a whirlpool that harmed no one. She wasn’t just pissed at Davy Jones, she wanted everybody. One more question… why was Jack the only one in Davy Jones locker? They just so happened to find him? And the whole Elizabeth and Jack thing… oh the anticipation.
SO WHAT DO YOU ALL THINK THAT PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN IS GOING TO BE ABOUT I THINK ITS GOING TO BE ABOUT THE FAUNTON OF YOUTH OR HOW EVER YOU SPELL IT
Disney need’s to go back to the well. Hire new writers that can bring closure to key plot points in the movie. They need to deliver in a hour and a half and bring the same flair. I love the alliance changing but it has become a pratfall plot, plot, plot. The only reason this boat stayed afloat is the cast. Bravo, broken legs all around.
Disney just hires Jerry Bruckheimer to make films, Disney doesn’t write the crap
Ok. There has to be a 4th. If a movie leaves me hanging, there is always a 4th! Thats always happened to me! Theres always another! There can’t be another Jack Sparrow Or Will Turner and Elizabeth Swann! And if Kierra Knightly is dumping Pirates, SHE HAS A SERIOUSLY MESSED UP BRAIN!! What was the first movies she made? What movies brought her up into starhood? PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN! That never rlly happens. Some1’s first movie makes them a star! So she can’t dump something that gave her FAME! Jack Sparrow is my hero and I’m so looking foward for a 4th! It wood B even kooler if there was a 5th! CAN’T WAIT!
Kierra Knightly 1st movie wasnt Pirates, it was some football flim.. any way thier so has to be anouther Pirates, thou thier are so many rumers….
shoot. i really want to see the 4 movie. the third one was awesome. i loved it so much. its OK to me that Elizabeth and Will aren’t going to be in the movie. as long as Jack is its awesome. i mean they cant come back in the movie. they are done. Will is the captain of the flying Dutchman and Elizabeth i think is the king of pirates or whatever. they cant see each other after 10 years and only for one day, i mean they wont spend a million dollar or more just to show one day w/ jack and Elizabeth and will. anyways i hope its going to be a big hit. i absolutely love all pirates of Caribbeans movie. please hurry up i want to see the 4th movie. man i cant wait!
Just wondering if maybe some of you missed something. Maybe you should get out your new DVD of Pirates and check out the scene AFTER the credits!
SPOILER HERE !!!! Close your eye’s. There is a ten year old kid. The only question is are they going to make a movie to fill in ten missing years, or skip it. It probably depends on the actors. If Miss Swann or Mr.Turner want some time off I’m sure they will take it. Jonny Depp is a workaholic I would not be supprised to see him make one with out them. There is a much larger supporting cast than Orlando or Kierra.
I hope pirates of the caribbean 4 is coming out I mean this I hope that Orlando be in it and Johnny Depp. There is going to be pirates of the caribbean 5 or more that would just be the best. soz forgot to say all the moives are the best do more and more.
I absolutly love Pirates of the Caribbean and can not wait for definate news of a 4th or 5th film. They can’t cut out any characters or it would not be the same. Can’t wait to see more Jhonny Depp!!!

Pirates rule and there can only be one Captain Jack Sparrow and there has to be another movie where Will and Elizabeth leave off at the beach,I am so hooked on the pirates..go baby!And for another reason,wills father,he was recucued from the curse so they have to consider as well,theres alot of loop holes that need to be patched,whats the deal.
there we go jhonny is a good role model for keira, because johny is older and he loves being a workaholic with acting compared to what kiera is only 21 and is prblably quiting on acting and to forget all her fame with out orlando bloom, johnny depp, and keira knightly whats the sence of having the it’s like sepperating the three muscketeers. that how trajeck it is.
