Jonah Nolan, aka Jonathan Nolan, aka little brother of uber director Christopher Nolan (“Batman Begins”), is currently shopping around a new TV crime series with J.J. Abrams attached as producer.
The untitled series (what isn’t untitled when it comes out of Abrams’ piehole? This guy has more untitled stuff floating around then the King of Untitleds, and that guy’s got lots of untitled stuff in his pocket, being the king and all) is described as a “crime thriller”, and will mark Nolan’s first foray into television land.
Word is, one network is already “extremely interested”, but that may just be because of Nolan and Abrams’ name recognition.
Besides his works with big bro Chris, Jonah Nolan (below) has written “Interstellar”, a sci-fi film with Steven Spielberg attached to direct. Nolan is also rumored to be attached to the “Superman” reboot for Warner Bros. as a possible director, though that sounds a tad farfetched given his lack of experience. Farfetched, yes, but not unheard of in Hollywood, where it’s not what you know, but who who know that gets you the cushy gigs.
