Joseph Fiennes and Morena Baccarin (With Help from the REC Creators) vs. The Unholy

Morena Baccarin“Camelot’s” Joseph Fiennes and “Homeland’s” Morena Baccarin are teaming up with the writers/directors/producers of the “REC” movies (the Spanish originals, not the American remakes) for “The Unholy”, a new supernatural thriller for Gold Circle Entertainment.

Ross Katz will direct from a script by E.L. Katz (I’m guessing they’re related), based on an original idea by “REC” boys Jaume Balaguero and Paco Plaza. The whole thing is apparently based on “actual scientific research”. Huh.

Inspired by actual scientific research that suggests evil may live within our very own genetic code, The Unholy follows a group of cutting-edge scientists who believe they can link evil to a specific human gene. When they are recruited by the Vatican to spearhead a new global initiative to examine candidates for official exorcisms, supernatural forces threaten both faith and science in a battle of good versus evil.

I knew there was a reason I keep picking up and killing all those hobos and stuffing them into my dishwasher. Told ya, it’s not my fault, it’s in my genes!

Anyways. Katz and company are looking to shoot “The Holy” sometime this Spring.

The best thing about season 1 of Homeland were her boobs. Season 2 wasn’t as good cause her boobs didn’t make an appearance.

That’s not creepy at all, dude.

      • Tin Hoang

Lol. That truth comes out. it is unfortunate about season two though.

I haven’t seen Season 2 yet, so don’t spoil anything for me.

          • Tin Hoang

Doh, sorry, I already spoiled it.

I have stayed away from the promos and “next episode” stuff, so I don’t know what you mean anyway, ha.

    REC is Spanish, not Italian.
