Joseph Gordon-Levitt Mysteriously Shrugs off Spider-Man Reboot Rumor
Comic Book Movie News, Spider-Man 4 (Reboot, 2012) Movie — By Nix on January 25, 2010On the one hand, Joseph Gordon-Levitt is probably a tad too old to be playing Peter Parker in the Spidey reboot, which will be set in High School (he’s 28, FYI). On the other hand, Tobey Maguire was already 27 when he first played Peter Parker, high school kid turned superhero back in 2002. Then you have Levitt having previously worked with the reboot’s new director, Marc Webb in Webb’s only other film, the romantic comedy “500 Days of Summer”, and you have Levitt doing these weird shrugging maneuvers when asked by the MTV guy if he would be right for the part. So you figure it out, cause honestly, I just can’t get into the idea of rebooting “Spider-Man” yet. Maybe one of these days, but not just yet…

Hey if he does it I’m all for it. I always thought he would’ve made a better choice for the role. He’s my top choice nextto Michael Angarano.
