Jun Ji-hyun Changes Name to Gianna Jun for Blood: The Last Vampire
Asian Movie News, Blood: The Last Vampire (2009) Movie, Horror Movie News — By Nix on May 22, 2007
I’m really not sure why Jun Ji-hyun, the Korean star of hits like “My Sassy Girl”, “Windstruck”, and the not-so-much “Daisy” has decided to undergone a name change for her role in the upcoming international-flavored “Blood: The Last Vampire”, but she has. According to Variety, Jun will be going by Gianna Jun in the film’s credits. “Blood”, a live-action adaptation of the Japanese horror anime, which originally followed an immortal vampire woman (Jun) as she works with the American Government to battle dark forces at an American Army base. It will be directed by Chris Nahon (“Kiss of the Dragon”) with action choreography by Corey Yuen (“DOA“).

Giannna Jun, WTF? Sounds more like porn-business than serious acting.
She never should have left Korea in the first place.
But bring on “Blood, the last Vampire”. Hugely looking forward to this.

Really like her, looks very preaty and sounds great also!
he so hot when he kill the demon!!!
wow she so cute….he fight damn cool…i realy like he^.^
well for all the idots who don’t know why her name became gianna.
at the set of blood…her korean staff called her “ji-hyun ah” which became gianna. sounds similar. the us or whatever staff that was there thought that was her name and called her gianna and it stuck with her.
as koreans would know….”ji-hyun ah” is a form of calling someone who is younger. ie. “avinna yah” or “boa yah” or “yi sun ah”
GOT IT GET IT GOOD
