I’m really not sure why Jun Ji-hyun, the Korean star of hits like “My Sassy Girl”, “Windstruck”, and the not-so-much “Daisy” has decided to undergone a name change for her role in the upcoming international-flavored “Blood: The Last Vampire”, but she has. According to Variety, Jun will be going by Gianna Jun in the film’s credits. “Blood”, a live-action adaptation of the Japanese horror anime, which originally followed an immortal vampire woman (Jun) as she works with the American Government to battle dark forces at an American Army base. It will be directed by Chris Nahon (“Kiss of the Dragon”) with action choreography by Corey Yuen (“DOA“).

Saya don’t play that:

Giannna Jun, WTF? Sounds more like porn-business than serious acting.
She never should have left Korea in the first place. :-(

But bring on “Blood, the last Vampire”. Hugely looking forward to this.
