Justin Marks to Write Hack/Slash Movie
Comic Book Movie News, Hack/Slash (2010) Movie, Horror Movie News — By Nix on April 8, 2008
Another comic book, another movie adaptation, and another script being written by Hollywood wunderkind Justin Marks, who is, at the moment, seems to be writing every comic book movie adaptation that David S. Goyer hasn’t gotten his little hands on. Marks’ latest is a movie adaptation of the comic book “Hack/Slash” (pictured, left), which will be produced by Adrian Askarieh and Daniel Alter, who also did “Hitman”, and we know how great that one turned out. Besides “Hack/Slash”, Marks is already writing the Green Arrow movie “Supermax”, and has “Voltron”, “He-Man”, and “Street Fighter” on the blocks.
More:
Comicbook, created by Tim Seeley and Stefano Caselli, revolves around Cassie Hack, a young woman who travels the country and takes on homicidal maniacs and serial killers along the way.
The actioner will be heavy on comedy and horror.
So, sassy chick fights serial killers. I can dig it.
