Guys in cardboard “armor” bashing the crap out of each other? Who doesn’t like that? Check out a Red Band trailer for “The Collapsed” director Justin McConnell’s documentary “Skull World”, which is due to rumble onto DVD/Blu-ray later this month. It’s pretty badass, if you’re into covering yourself up with cardboard armor and, as previously mentioned, doing battle, that is. You would definitely have to have a certain mindset to be into this, but hey, who knows, maybe you’re just weird that way.

Personally, the only use I’ve ever found for cardboard was packing up my old T-shirts, but maybe I’m missing out…

Greg Sommer is an enigma wrapped inside a mystery, encased in a Jean-Jacket Vest. An enterprising man in his early 30s, Greg, and his alter-ego SKULL MAN, are at war. Box Wars that is.

Welcome to Greg’s world. A world of warriors, magic, and glory. A world of metal. Greg is building the Canadian-chapter of BOX WARS, an international underground movement of Cardboard-based combat.

SKULL WORLD follows two years in the life of Greg, and sheds light on exactly what makes him, and his goals in life, so unique. A comedic and moving journey awaits, not for the faint of heart.

Grab some more info at the film’s official site or check out the Red Band trailer below.

The film lands on Blu-Ray, DVD and VOD this June 18th.
