Kane and Lynch are Machinegun Toting Silhouetted Badasses

Nu Image has released the first teaser poster for their upcoming adaptation of the videogame “Kane and Lynch”. Before they even shot a scene from the movie, they already did something very right: they cast Bruce Willis as a badass merc with everything in the world to kill for (his endangered family), and Jamie Foxx as a schizo psycho killer. Sounds like fun times!

Kane (Bruce willis) is a mercenary. Lynch (Jamie Foxx) is a schizophrenic with no past. They meet while being transported to Death Row. When they are attacked and kidnapped by Kane’s former team, the ill-matched duo is forced to team up and retrieve a stolen microchip that will save Kane’s family, and may hold the key to Lynch’s true identity.

Simon Crane is directing from a script by Kyle Ward. Look for it in 2011.

This will be interesting. Whereas Willis looks just like Kane, Foxx looks nothing like Lynch. I interested to see what they'll do with the schizo aspect and why they didn't try to cast someone that looked like Lynch. I'm not mad as Foxx is a great actor, just wondering.

Willis as Kane sounds like a perfect match, but Foxx as Lynch? Hell no. Jason Strathom has that batshit insane aura around him which would have been a good choice, or someone like Willem Dafoe or Christian Bale (both can pull of a crazy switch for their characters very well)
