Keira Knightley Says No to Pirates 4?

Or is that just an actor doing a pre-emptive “No” so they want the studio to jack up the paycheck? Hey, it’s not like it’s never happened before (re: the Spider-Man kids); in fact, it probably happens all the time when you’re talking about a movie franchise as lucrative as the “Pirates of the Caribbean” films. In any case, during a press conference for her new movie “Atonement”, someone asked Knightley about coming back for a “Pirates of the Caribbean 4″. Read her response below…
Says Knightley (via):
“I can’t imagine doing another one. That was an amazing experience, really was, totally extraordinary, but I think three for me is probably enough.”
Not exactly a “No, no way in Hell” reply. More of a, “Hmm, probably not, unless, you know, we’re talking ‘back up the brink truck to my Malibu house kind of paycheck here’.” At this point, I can’t see anyone who isn’t a total idiot hopping off the “Pirates” film if a fourth installment does end up happening.
And in any case, even if Knightley doesn’t come back, the “Pirates” producers already have the one person who really matters: Johnny Depp has said repeatedly that Yeah, he’d like to return as Captain Jack Sparrow. And really, when you have Jack, who else do you need?
Although it would be nice to have Elizabeth Swann back, too…

If u fast foward thru credits at the end of At Worlds End,you will see 10 years later,she already had a child(boy).Will returns & thats the end..until POTC4!!!!!I really hope she changes her mind and signs on.
as if any can be bothered watching the credits for ages to see a 30 second scene. i didn’t see it nor did any else in the whole society in australia. seriously becky no bothers watching the credits so as the credit come up EVERYONE piles out of the cinema

if you watched all three movies every-one has a post credits scene, also apparently since elizabeth stayed faithful (like didnt cheat on him) to Will then when Will comes back to the living world he is free from his duty as Davy Jone’s, kul
Well he is not free.. Will is bound to his duty as the captain of the Flying Dutchman forever… for 10 years he is to be at sea ferrying souls of those who died at sea and can come ashore for ONE day then he will have to wait another 10 years again… The Dutchman needs to have a captain.

you probably wont read this, but in the event that you do i just want you to know that you should really come back for POC4. i understand that youre probably trying to move on to more serious work but you have to understand that POC is really a major part of your career!! plus all of your fans would really like to see you in the motherly mode and how you solve the problem of not being able to see will except for once every ten years. i was really sad at the end of POC3
Bring’em back Jack. I love the POC movies. My kids love it. This is a movie for the current and future generations. Bravo!!!!!

ok so I was maaaaad pissed with the last poc movie and heres why:
1- the only reason I watch those movies is to know whats gona happen with kiera and orlando
2- I dont think its cool that you guys get us hooked on this story then leave us high and dry with a sad ass ending of the main characters seeing eachother every 10 years, 10 YEARS? if disney taught us anything we should have a happy ending damn it!
3- whats thepoint of this movie if you’re not in it kiera, I know I sound like an obssessed fan, but I mean honestly what am I gonna go watch 2 hours of jack sparrow running around??? I dont think so
4- you’re getting paid alotta money to do this , so I dont really see why you wouldnt, really.

You are completley right. I thought i was the only one that watched it for keira and orlanda but obviously i’m not. I love thier relationship. it keeps me going to see the movies! Plus how are you just going to not have the people that start most of the conflict!
Come on keira u cant just have cap jack sparrow and barbosa? i mean then theres no action without u.If u come back ull probaly get to have a massive battle with kylipso and maybe davie jones might return so then ull get to avenge Will and destroy jones??? now that sounds like a good storyline 4 u and a good paycheck to $$$
