Those Transformers and their human allies will have to deal with the boss of bosses when “Boss” star Kelsey Grammer menaces the universe in the fourth installment of the transforming robots from outer space franchise.
Grammer has officially landed the film’s human villain role, and will be playing Harold Attinger, described simply as “a counter intelligence guy.” Or a bad guy spy, I guess you could also call him.
The former “Fraser” star will be going up against Mark Wahlberg, Nicola Peltz, Stanley Tucci, and Jack Reynor in the upcoming fourth installment that Bay will direct once again. In case you missed the reasons why Bay decided to direct a fourth entry after saying he wouldn’t come back, you can read his reasoning here.
In the meantime, this wouldn’t be Grammer’s first exposure to geek franchises. As you’ll recall, he previously went blue fur for the role of Beast in “X-Men: The Last Stand”.
“Transformers 4”, which will take place a few years after the events of “Transformers: Dark of the Moon”, slam bangs in a theater near you next year June 27, 2014.
