Saw this clip from Matthew Vaughn’s “Kick Ass” over at Comic Con earlier this year. In it, Big Daddy (Nicolas Cage) teaches Hit Girl (Chloe Moretz) what it feels like to be shot, by, er, shooting her in the chest. Repeatedly. Of course, he promises ice cream and bowling afterward, cause, really, what loving dad wouldn’t? In “Kick Ass”, based on Mark Millar’s comic book, Cage and Moretz play a father-daughter vigilante team who runs afoul of the bad guys and the titular Kick Ass (Aaron Johnson), a teenager with a homemade superhero costume. As far as I know the film is still Rated R, and trust me, parents, that R is there for a reason. Via UGO, who also offers up a brand spanking new poster of Big Daddy in his Batman mode.
