Kick-Ass’s Red Mist Revealed

I don’t know who this Red Mist person is, but apparently he’s one of the teen superhero wannabe characters in Mark Millar’s “Kick Ass” comic book, which is currently being turned into a movie by “Layer Cake’s” Matthew Vaughn. I haven’t read the comics past the fourth issue, so I’ve never even heard of Red Mist. At least, he doesn’t sound familiar. In any case, Red Mist is a character in the movie, and the boyos over at Aint-it-Cool-News.com have been given the first official look at ol Red Mist’s initial meeting with the lead character, who goes by the moniker of Kick Ass because, you know, that kicks ass.

Speaking of asses, after a long ass article about going to London and other ramblings about stuff I can barely keep my eyes open just reading, the AICN article finally delivers the goods. Or good, as there’s just one pic. You’d think after a five page article about his travelings, we’d get more than one measly pic, but eh, beggars can’t be choosers.

(I’m assuming Red Mist is the dork in the red-themed costume in the left side of the picture.)

Cool Stories From Zergnet

  • Doktor Klaw

I’m excited that they are making a movie based on a Mark Millar project, that might actually resemble the comic, unlike WANTED. I think the movie is in good hands, there’s only one thing I don’t get. Nix said he only read to issue 4, and he isn’t the only one, since that was the last issue released. They decided to make the movie so quickly that the comic series ground to a halt and isn’t even close to finished. I don’t know what they’ll do, release it after the movie? Either, looks awesome!
