Kiefer Sutherland to Star in Tim Kring’s Touch

From Jack Bauer to the father of an autistic child that can see the future? Hey, he’s Jack Bauer, he can do anything.

While still waiting for that “24″ movie to get going (if it ever does), Kiefer Sutherland is currently doing the acting thing on Broadway, but he’s now reportedly in negotiations to return to regular TV work by headlining “Heroes” creator Tim Kring’s latest show on Fox called “Touch”.

Sutherland would play a father who discovers that his autistic, mute son can predict events before they happen. Obviously that leads to complications. Just what type of complications remains to be seen. Knowing Kring, though, it could be supernatural (ala “Heroes”) or it could just go procedural (ala “Crossing Jordan”).
