Kristen Stewart is Hollywood’s Highest Paid Actress

Kristen StewartKristen Stewart is the youngest woman on Forbes’ list of highest paid actress currently working in Hollywood, but she’s also the highest paid, thanks in no small part to the two upcoming “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn” movies. Stewart is the youngest actress on the list by a whopping 16 years, with former “Saturday Night Live” gal Kristen Wiig taking second in that category at 38 years old. In all, Stewart made $34.5 million between May 2011 and May 2012, just barely beating out second place’s Cameron Diaz, who cleaned up from the back profits of “Bad Teacher” to the tune of $34 million in the same time period.

Third place finisher Sandra Bullock earned $25 million, even though she hasn’t had a hit since 2009’s “The Blind Side” came out and, well, blind sided everyone. Her most recent film was the 9/11 drama “Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close”, for which she was apparently paid quite a bit of money. I have absolutely no idea where most of that $25 million came from, though. TV residues, perhaps? She was a producer on the “George Lopez” show…

Speaking of which, it looks like old residues from canceled TV shows also did well by Sarah Jessica Parker, whose “Sex and the City” money no doubt accounts for much of her $15 million in earnings for the same time period. Notables also include Kristen Stewart’s “Snow White and the Huntsman” co-star Charlize Theron, who came in at fifth place with $18 million. Snow White’s other Queen, Julia Roberts, earned $16 million, good enough for sixth place behind Theron.

Here’s how the Top 10 list shakes out:

#1 – Kristen Stewart – $34.5 Million
#2 – Cameron Diaz – $34 million
#3 – Sandra Bullock – $25 million
#4 – Angelina Jolie – $20 million
#5 – Charlize Theron – $18 million
#6 – Julia Roberts – $16 million
#7 – Sarah Jessica Parker – $15 million
#8 – Meryl Streep – $12 million
#9 – Kristen Wiig – $12 million
#10 – Jennifer Aniston – $11 million
