Kurt Russell is a badass and I wish he made more movies. He hasn’t graced the silver screen since 2007, though that situation looks like it will be rectified soon as he has a bunch of projects slated to hit theaters in 2011. For Kurt Russell, I am willing to wait.
Joblo has a promo poster for Russell’s upcoming film “Undying”, directed by Jon Amiel (“Copycat”) and written by Gary Whitta (“The Book of Eli”), and a new synopsis.
“Undying” is a stylish supernatural thriller/ neo-noir, “Undying” tells the story of Virgil, a private investigator who finds himself recruited by the darkly beautiful and mysterious Delia. As he begins to work for Delia, Virgil finds himself suddenly immersed in a surreal underworld, one where the boundaries of life and death “as well as right and wrong” are completely blurred. This unlikely journey also reveals the harrowing answers to the fate of Virgil’s own daughter.
I’ll watch that.
“Undying” is still in pre-production, and while film has a solid core in place with Russell, Amiel, and Whitta, there isn’t currently anyone else of note attached. The movie is set to start filming sometime this fall.
This teaser poster is pretty generic. Also very small. But you get the general idea.
