Latest Game Of Thrones Season 2 Trailer Talks About Love

Emilia Clarke in Game of Thrones

HBO is ramping up the hype machine for the rapidly approaching kick off of the second season of “Game of Thrones” with yet another trailer. This one focuses primarily on the female characters of the series and the struggles and sacrifices they face (and there’s some Imp thrown in for good measure). Not to be taken for damsels in distress, these are strong, badass, often ruthless ladies to contend with. And that just makes the show that much better.

Titled “The More You Love”, the trailer gives you glimpses at Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey), Daeneryes Targeryen (Emilia Clarke), and the three Stark women, Lady Stark (Michelle Fairley), Sansa (Sophie Turner), and Arya (Maisie Williams) and what they’ve been up to since the end of the first season. There is some talk of love, but not in the way you’re probably thinking.

I just burned through season one on DVD in like two days, and I really need to find friends who have HBO and who are willing to let me camp out on their couch for an entire season. “Game of Thrones” quickly rocketed to the top of my favorite shows currently on television.

Based on George R.R. Martin’s “A Song of Ice and Fire” series, season two of “Game of Thrones” begins on April 1, with the episode “The North Remembers”. Watch the latest trailer embedded below.
