Excited for “Game of Thrones” Season 3 yet? No? What are you, some kind of nut? A nut that doesn’t appreciate quality TV programming? Well snap out of it! Here’s the latest promo trailer for HBO’s upcoming Season 3 of “Game of Thrones”, titled “War”. It’s a very appropriate title from the looks of it, since everyone seems to be trying to kill each other. Hard to do in a 30-second spot.
“Game of Thrones” returns to the airwaves with what promises to be an epic, warring third season this March 31st. If you don’t have HBO, well, I suggest getting yourself the cable channel. Unless, of course, you can’t afford it. I don’t want to be telling you to get things you can’t afford, after all.
Here’s the official synopsis for the first episode of Season 3, titled “Valar Dohaeris”:
Jon is brought before Mance Rayder, the King Beyond the Wall, while the Night’s Watch survivors retreat south. In King’s Landing, Tyrion asks for his reward. Littlefinger offers Sansa a way out. Cersei hosts a dinner for the royal family. Daenerys sails into Slaver’s Bay. Written for television by David Benioff & D.B. Weiss; directed by Daniel Minahan.
Starring Peter Dinklage, Michelle Fairley, Lena Headey, Emilia Clarke, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Aidan Gillen, Iain Glen, Kit Harington, Richard Madden, Charles Dance, Maisie Williams, Isaac Hempstead Wright, Sophie Turner, and Jack Gleeson.
Added: A day later, HBO released another promo, titled “The Beast”. Instead of creating a new post, I thought I’d just drop it into this previous post. #lazy
