If you’ve never read the Veronica Roth books, then chances were you had no idea what the hell Neil Burger’s “Divergent” is all about, and the previous trailers for the movie certainly didn’t do it any favors. It looks all futuristic, but not really; and there is that whole thing about diverging and factions and Kate Winslet being evil. Well, this latest (and final) trailer for the movie goes out of its way to explain the movie’s world to you, but also has plenty of romance and action and all that good stuff.

The movie opens next month, and sequels are already being primed — but then again, aren’t they always? Chances are if “Divergent” bombs, you won’t get a sequel, since these movies are pretty expensive to make.

DIVERGENT is a thrilling action-adventure film set in a future where people are divided into distinct factions based on their personalities. Tris Prior (Woodley) is warned she is Divergent and will never fit into any one group. When she discovers a conspiracy to destroy all Divergents, she must find out what makes being Divergent so dangerous before it’s too late. Based on the best-selling book series by Veronica Roth.

Starring Shailene Woodley, Theo James, Kate Winslet, Ray Stevenson, Mekhi Phifer, Maggie Q, Jai Courtney, Miles Teller, Zoë Kravitz, Ansel Elgort, Ashley Judd and Tony Goldwyn.

The train is leaving this March 21, 2014.
