Latest Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen Trailer

Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen (2009) Movie, Videos — By Nix on May 1, 2009

The Fallen, the centerpiece villain of the “Transformers” sequel, is a giant friggin’ robot (I guess that goes without saying, right?) that’s been laying at the bottom of the ocean. (Note: Or not, as I’ve been geekily informed in the comments section.) He’s awakened by a couple of bad Decepticons to help out in their battle with those car-lovin’ Autobots and those pesky human armies from the first movie. Meanwhile, Sam Witwicky (Shia LaBeouf) is off to college, while his hot-to-trot girlfriend Mikaela (Megan Fox) is grease monkeying it up something hot. Here’s the latest and greatest trailer for Michael Bay’s “Tranasformers: Revenge of the Fallen”. New Megan Fox pic from the movie included, just ’cause.

Decepticon forces return to Earth on a mission to take Sam Witwicky prisoner, after the young hero learns the truth about the ancient origins of the Transformers. Joining the mission to protect humankind is Optimus Prime, who forms an alliance with international armies for a second epic battle.

Starring Megan Fox, Shia LaBeouf, Rainn Wilson, Hugo Weaving, John Turturro, Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson, Frank Welker, and Isabel Lucas, to name just a few. Michael “King of Explosions” Bay directs. And boy does he direct!

Their war, our world part deux begins June 24.

Might wanna check your facts…that’s Megatron that is resurrected from the bottom of the ocean. In the Laurentian Abyss, actually, which makes a lot of sense because that’s where he was ‘buried’ by the US military after his defeat at the end of the last movie.

The Fallen actually has double-meaning in this movie. It represents a very powerful and evil Cybertronian robot that has been trapped in another dimension and finds a way back to ours. It also represents the return of Megatron for being defeated in the first movie. Side note: The Fallen is not a HUGE robot…he’s about the same size as Megatron/Blackout/Soundwave/Mixmaster/Optimus Prime. In fact, they all are dwarfed by the gigantic combiner robot Devastator.

So it is clear that your article is tragically misinformed.

Jeez guys leave the lad alone, you’re bullying him! Its his opinion, you may not agree with it but none the less.

It was a terrible film, absolute rubbish! I was so disappointed as I was waiting a whole year to see this and it failed me.

over half an hour for the film to actually start because Sam and Mikeala were trying to get each other to say the L word! then when it did start the decepticons had a “human” body – when did that happen? how did they advance to that? how did they emulate skin? And where was Bumblebee when Sam and Mikeala were hot wiring the car parked at the campus? he was round the corner parked up so how come he did not arrive to rescue them like when he parked himself up at the freshman party?

The CGi was too quick to apppreciate the transforming and the script was a huge let down too!

OK BUD this is probably the best movie i have seen in a long time… Not only was the action mindboggling the plot was good too… The needed more then just action and fighting pieces of metal to get the female population to watchh it so they added the love story. Yes it was extremely long but the movie was well worth the 2 and a half hours……….. And the way i see it they will be having a 3rd. and they should michael bay is and always will be an amazing director

In my opinion, that was the absolute best movie I have ever seen. It blows the first one out of the water. And the fight scenes were plentiful and amazing. The CGI in this movie is so great, it looked so real down to the dust on the robots from driving on the road as cars. It was also way funnier than the first one to me. The whole theater was laughing. I don’t understand how anyone can dislike the movie. But, that’s just me. I loved it!! Can’t wait for the 3rd installment!!

  • Ryan says:

I don’t want to give anything away, so I will say it was good if you take it at face value, don’t expect a coherent plot, its an action movie with lots of eye candy. It was worth the lack of sleep but they certainly didn’t even attempt to connect all the dots for this movie to flow and there are plot holes big enough to … well … drive a truck through.

  • Tom says:

    Are you serious critics?
This movie had to have been one of the most astronomically colossal movies of the year!
I decide to go watch the movie this morning, watch the entire breathtaking 140 minutes of intensity and excitement, get home, and choose to see what the critics had to say. I am breath taken about every single one of there reviews, shocked, amazed.
Every single bald headed ass scratching review writer out there decided to take one of the best movies of 2009 and turn it into a wreck. Critics such as them love the attention, if one critic decides to write up a very unexpected astonishingly shocking review, every other idiotic reviewer is going to do the same thing.
My opinion, do NOT listen to those reviewers, if you liked the trailer or if you are drawn to special effects. GO.

    • Ryan says:

Visually yes, its amazing, but come on..

      *spoiler alert*

3 main characters die and come back to life, I’ll give the writers some slack for one, but at 3, they are not even trying anymore. That’s just the biggest /facepalm response I expect people to catch.. So calling this one of the best movies of 09.. I’m feeling sorry for your mental aptitude. A blinking light bulb has more continuity then this movies plot.

I still liked it overall, just disapointed they didn’t give this more effort.
