Lena Headey and Sean Bean vs. the Black Death

Not content to battle killer cyborgs from the future, Sarah Connor Chronicles star Lena Headey is set to star in the supernatural horror film “Black Death” for director Geoff Sax. She’ll have company in Sean Bean and Rupert Friend. The movie is set in an “apocalyptic medieval world”, and finds a band of brothers whose quest is to hunt down a necromancer against the backdrop of the first outbreak of bubonic plague in England. Sounds pleasant.

Friend will play a young monk sent to investigate rumors of people being brought back to life, while Bean plays a mercenary priest who arrives in the same village. Against the backdrop of the peaceful village lies a pact with the forces of darkness, orchestrated by the village ruler (Headey).

Queen Gorgo as a villain? A very, very sexy villain, I’m sure.
