Lengthy Trailer for the Greek Shocker Subconscious – The Real Tape Horror

It takes a lot to scare me these days, but the trailer for “Subconscious – The Real Tape Horror” did the trick in the first few seconds. Of course, their mission was accomplished through the use of an unusually loud jump scare, but the imagery is eerie nonetheless. A full-on plot synopsis is currently missing in action, though all you really need to know is that something horrible happened to a young couple, everything was captured on film, and the supposedly missing footage has finally resurfaced. Depending on your feelings about movies of this nature, “Subconscious” might be yet another nail in modern horror’s pinewood coffin. The rest of us, however, will wait to see how this thing pans out when the picture makes its way onto DVD. I honestly can’t wait.

Much love to Quiet Earth for originally posting this trailer. If you’re watching this thing at work, you might want to turn the sound down, as it’s rather loud.

Todd was raised on a steady diet of Hollywood blockbusters, late-night Cinemax programming, and USA’s “Up All Night,” which may explain why his taste in movies is more than a little questionable. When he isn’t providing news and reviews for Beyond Hollywood, he can be found lounging lazily on his couch, perched in front of his television, or dwelling in places where direct sunlight can be easily avoided. He's happily married, in his 30's, and totally badass. If you'd like to reach Todd, you can follow him on Twitter or send him email/scoops to todd (at) beyondhollywood.com.
