Lesbians. Vampires. Killers. Nuff Said.

In the tradition of British horror comedies about vampires, and movies about lesbians who turn out to be killers, and people who kill vampires, comes “Lesbian Vampire Killers”. Because, you know, when you need to take out a vampire, it’s just not enough to get some old English guy with a funky top hat, sometimes you gotta go to the Goth chicks with their piercings and sapphic desires. Or maybe it’s the other way around? Maybe it’s the old English guy who has to kill him some lesbian vampires? You know, vampires who happen to be lesbians? Well, it’s definitely one of those. I’m confused, but you needn’t be. Continue onward, brave soul!

The premise:

Thier women having been enslaved by the local pack of lesbian vampires thanks to an ancient curse, the remaining menfolk of a rural Welsh town send two hapless young lads out onto the moors as a sacrifice.

See, sounds perfectly logical to me. The poster, via Empire, looks very nice, too.

Starring Paul McGann, James Corden, Mathew Horne, MyAnna Buring, Silvia Colloca, Vera Filatova, Ashley Mulheron, Louise Dylan, Lucy Gaskell, John Pierce Jones, and Emer Kenny. Phil Claydon directs from a script by Paul Hupfield and Stewart Williams.

The lesbian vampires start the sucking March 2009 in the UK. No word on a Stateside look-see yet, but I’d wait for the DVD, which is probably where you’ll find it.
