Everyone knows who Liam Neeson is, especially after the surprise success of his actioner “Taken”, but that’s not the case in his new movie “Unknown White Male”, a thriller by Dark Castle that will be directed by Spanish helmer Jaume Collet-Serra, responsible for the creepy kids thriller “Orphan” and before that, the “House of Wax” remake. Production on the film is expected to start in January, once Neeson wraps up the big-screen version of “The A-Team” for Joe Carnahan.
Variety says the film will find Neeson playing a doctor who goes to Berlin for a medical conference, where he gets into a car accident and ends up in a coma. When he finally awakens from the coma, he discovers that his wife doesn’t recognize him. If that wasn’t bad enough, she’s now living with another man who says he’s our hero, but is obviously not. Or is he?
See, this is why I avoid comas whenever possible. Comas and Berlin. Nothing good ever happens in Berlin.
