Logan Marshall-Green was one of the stars of the M. Night Shyamalan-produced “Devil” (you remember, that “trapped in an elevator with the devil” movie?), but he might be most known to TV watchers as one of the cops of TNT’s canceled “Dark Blue”. Apparently cancellation was the best thing that ever happened to Logan, because it looks like he’s on the fast track to stardom, especially with this latest news that he’s landed the male lead in Ridley Scott’s not-“Alien” sci-fi movie “Prometheus”.
Deadline has Marshall-Green signing on to play Holloway, a fellow crewman of and love interest for star Noomi Rapace’s Elizabeth Shaw.
Marshall-Green also joins Charlize Theron and Michael Fassbender in the cast of the Ridley Scott and 20th Century Fox film, which was originally conceived as an “Alien” prequel before, er, becoming something else.
