Look! Piccolo Really is Green!

I don’t know what kind of alien badass this Piccolo fellow is in the original Japanese anime and manga and what have you, but when the first footage from James Wong’s “Dragonball” leaked all over the Innerwebs like something that leaks, and ol Piccolo didn’t look nearly green enough, the fanbase got pretty riled up, more riled up over a color (or lack thereof) than I’ve ever seen. As a non-Dragonball fan, It was kind of disturbing, actually. Now I haven’t a clue if Wong and company went in and “green up” Piccolo for the finished movie (since retitled “Dragonball: Evolution”), but the baldy alien sure looks pretty green to me in these new behind-the-scenes photos featuring James Marsters as Piccolo and Eriko Tamura as Mai. Also, as an added bonus, Joon Park strikes a pose as Yamcha.
The story begins with Goku, who seeks out upon his adoptive grandfather Grandpa Gohan’s dying request to find the great Master Roshi and gather all seven Dragon Balls. Of which he has one, in order to prevent the evil Lord Piccolo from succeeding in his desire to use the Dragon Balls to take over the world. And Goku’s quest is to obtain the mystical Dragonballs before Piccolo does.

the best ones will STILL look ridiculous, cuz frankly, original costume only works for anime but sucks in live action cmon…

Seriously why doesn’t fox just give his costume to Disney so they can use it for the next power rangers series. Fox should stick to making cartoons like The Simpsons and Family Guy.
I did see a good picture of piccolo online.. a DB movie got canceld or somthing..? but they had an acurate piccolo

Btw does anyone know if Kami is going to make an appearence in this movie? or are they cutting him out. He kinda played a big role in Dragonball.. and if it wasnt for him there wud be NO dragonballs.
Well you see they didn’t use kami to create the dragonballs, it was 7 guys, the movie is going away from the story line. That pretty much why i’m going to download it for free or get the bootleg when it comes out. I think everyone should do the same. LOL
Remember Cuddlesload Kami didn’t appear in the anime until after King Piccolo died and it went into the Piccolo Jr. saga which will be the focus of the second movie. In other words Kami will be in the 2nd movie no this one. That is of course Fox fucks with the original story and takes him out.
