Hugh Jackman in The Wolverine (2013) Movie Scan Image

Hey, just because he’s a feral killing machine from up North with sharp claws, it doesn’t mean he doesn’t like to dress up and go on the town, too, you know.

Check out a new image from “The Wolverine”, featuring star Hugh Jackman all dressed up with no place to go. Need to get a table at a crowded restaurant but the matre’d is being a dick? Just pop those claws. No reservations needed!

In the James Mangold-directed sequel, “The Wolverine” finds Logan, the eternal warrior and outsider, in Japan. There, samurai steel will clash with adamantium claw as Logan confronts a mysterious figure from his past in an epic battle that will leave him forever changed.

Also starring Brian Tee, Will Yun Lee, Hiroyuki Sanada, Svetlana Khodchenkova, Rila Fukushima, James Fraser, Tao Okamoto, Hal Yamanouchi, and giving Japan the hand (and a few sharp claws, too) July 26, 2013.

Now that is one well dressed Wolverine! Sharp indeed!!! I could easily see him at a Yakuza meeting with that on. I can’t wait for this.

And hopefully versus yakuza wielding traditional weapons. The suit-and-tie swordsman look is clutch even before the Crazy 88 pulled it off in “Kill Bill”

        INDEED SIR!!!

Speaking of which, I wonder who’s doing the stunt choreography? Corey Yuen’s work on “X 1 & 2″ seemed a perfect marriage of HK wirework and superhuman antics and hopefully, he’s either back or someone comparable got the job

Wasn’t even aware he did the choreography on those. Yeah I wouldn’t be surprised if he came on board for this.

Where is the image from? Interesting that it claims that the movie takes place after The Last Stand when eveything else we’ve heard says it’s completely standalone.

Actually no, the director has even said it takes place after X3.

Another site had the headline “Wolverine in his suit!!!”
Boy was I dissapointed when I clicked and looked.
    Still a cool pic though.

I think this film could be really good if done well, James Mangold is a good Director, Christopher Mcquarie writes great scripts and Hugh Jackman is Wolverine for this generation, so i see no good reason for this to fail…

  • ErickKwon

Hm, just noticed that his hands look all scarred up

    • matt

actually i think those are his yolked out veins popping out, could be wrong

Nice. If this film and x-men: days of future past do well they effectively merge the two universes together, they should just pretend like x-men: origins never even happened. Every other piece of the puzzle fits in except that movie. There were so many characters that they ruined permanently, so it should just not be connected to the new universe at all.

Ilove Hugh Jackman as an actor, and does an ok Wolverine, but he is just TOO TALL!!…Wplverine is 5’3″, so they should’ve chosen an actor that was at the most 5’10”. On another note I would like to see Sly Stalone in an Old Man Logan movie as the title character.

Probably couldn’t find anyone that fit the look AND the build, and act to boot. And Sly as Old Man Logan would be interesting to say the least.
