For a while there it seemed like a no-brainer that Brian K. Vaughan’s long-running comic book series “Y: The Last Man” would get made into a movie, especially with David Caruso and Shia LaBeouf (then coming off hits “Disburbia” and “Eagle Eye”) talking up a storm about doing it as director and star, respectively. Those two guys seem to have fallen by the wayside, and along with them, the “Y” movie adaptation. Or perhaps not.
News from LationReview is that “Clash of the Titans” director Louis Leterrier is now “circling” the project, which may mean anything from he’s interested, or someone saw him “circling” a comic book shop that was selling a “Y: The Last Man” comic book. In the meantime, “Y: The Last Man” continues to be stuck in development hell.
