Louis Leterrier To Direct Heist Flick Now You See Me

Apparently tired of superheroes and battling Gods, Louis Leterrier has signed on to direct the heist flick “Now You See Me”, one of those movies with a “high concept” idea: in this case, the thieves are also illusionists.

But wait! That’s not the entire twist: after their heists, these thieves “shower the profits on to their audiences”, whatever that means.

Pursuing the masters of illusionists will be “a crack FBI squad”. Aren’t they always?

Leterrier, who recently lost out on the “Fantastic Voyage” gig to Shawn Levy, will direct for Summit Entertainment from a script by Boaz Yakin. The ubiquitous duo of Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci will produce.
