Mad Max Beyond the California Desert

Excited for George Miller’s upcoming “Mad Max: Fury Road”? Guess what, you’re probably not nearly as excited as these guys, participants of the Road Warrior Weekend, a three-day Mad Max-themed event, complete with live music, pirate radio, camping, car racing, bartering, boozing, Thunderdome battles and well-endowed ladies in skimpy leather wear recently held over in the California desert. And oh yeah, someone recreated the Interceptors and the Gyrocopter from the franchise and brought them over to be enjoyed. I hear for the price of one gallon of gas and a feral kid, you get to take both for a spin.
