Mad Max Fury Road’s Five Wives Gets Sexier with the Addition of Rosie Huntington-Whiteley

Lionsgate & IM Global with The Cinema Society & TW Steel Present the New York Premiere of "SAFE"Apparently in George Miller’s latest post-apocalyptic entry in his “Mad Max” series, there are a group of five women who are taken from place to place, collectively known as the “five wives”. Cause, you know, they’re women, there are five of them, and apparently they’re wives to someone or rather.

Or as one of the wives, Zoe Kravitz explains it:

There’s a group of five women being taken from one place to another place, and I’m one of those women. So they call us the five wives. There are five women who are five wives. No, I’m not playing all five wives.

Yeah, what I said, Zoe.

Previously, “X-Men: First Class’s” Zoe Kravitz was cast along with Riley Keough as two of the wives. Now you can add “Transformers: Dark of the Moon’s” Rosie Huntington-Whiteley as another one, which leaves us with two more still to be cast. Or have already been cast, but are too little-known as actresses (or, you know, a movie actor — since, come on, you can’t really confuse Rosie Huntington-Whiteley with being an “actress”, can you?) to have made the trades.

From all accounts, “Mad Max: Fury Road” is gearing up for production under Miller, with Tom Hardy set to take over the Mad Max role from Mel Gibson. He, along with Charlize Theron and Nicholas Hoult, will be jetting around Nambia, Africa, apparently the stand-in for the end of the world as we know it. I suspect Africans may not appreciate that very much, but the production dollars should make up for it.
