Like stuff blowing up? People getting punched in the face? Kicked in the head? Cool dudes with guns and fists of fury dispensing justice on the bad guys one broken nose and a bullet at a time? Heck, you’re probably the guy that the new After Dark Action festival is going for. Check out a new trailer from the fest, which assembles all the line-up’s five titles (“Dragon Eyes”, “Transit”, “El Gringo”, “Stash House”, and “The Philly Kid”) into one action-packed trailer.

After Dark Action is from the same people who gave us the After Dark Films, and now they’re doing to action what they did with horror. You’ll be able to catch all five films in limited release on May 11th, but in case you can’t make it in person, no worries, they’ll also be available on VOD at the same time.

Starring Jean-Claude Van Damme, Cung Le, Scott Adkins, Jim Caviezel, Dolph Lundgren, Christian Slater, Peter Weller, Devon Sawa, Michael Jai White, and Neal McDonough.

I’ve seen Transit and Dragon Eyes so far. Solid B grade time-wasters. I’m really looking forward to Scott Adkin’s “El Gringo” though. That one looks really good. I always enjoy Lundgren too, so I’ll have to check out Stash House while I’m at it. I’m glad After Dark has decided to try and action lineup.
