Man of Steel Unleashes a New Trailer of Mass Destruction

Man of Steel (2013) Movie Image

Just when you didn’t think Warner Bros. and Zack Snyder could unleash anything from “Man of Steel” that could wow you more than previous clips and trailers have already, they go and put out this new Nokia-sponsored trailer that is downright ridiculous. This thing piles on so much action and mass destruction that you wonder if two and a half hours will be enough to hold all the sheer awesomeness.

But don’t take my word for it. Check it out for yourself, check it outer.

Clark Kent/Kal-El is a young twentysomething journalist who feels alienated by powers beyond anyone’s imagination. Transported to Earth years ago from Krypton, an advanced alien planet, Clark struggles with the ultimate question – Why am I here? Shaped by the values of his adoptive parents Martha and Jonathan Kent, Clark soon discovers that having super abilities means making very difficult decisions. But when the world needs stability the most, it comes under attack. Will his abilities be used to maintain peace or ultimately used to divide and conquer? Clark must become the hero known as “Superman,” not only to shine as the world’s last beacon of hope but to protect the ones he loves.

Starring Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Michael Shannon, Kevin Costner, Diane Lane, Laurence Fishburne, Antje Traue, Ayelet Zurer, Christopher Meloni, and Russell Crowe.

The destruction commences this June 14, 2013.

    Head just exploded like Krypton!!

Except now I’m even less sure that Krypton go boom, but hells yeah, got my ticket for next Thu night ready. If they could only fit in some Jaeger-sized robots…

      • Dedpool

Nope, it definitely goes boom. The circumstances are different apparently, and he isn’t the only one to make it off planet obviously, but I can’t claim to know the story but I can’t see them NOT destroying Krypton

It was the El family face-to-face that made me think Krypton didn’t blow, but watching it yet again, I realize Jor-El’s probably a hologram, and I think the Fortress is actually in space at some point. What offers more solitude than an orbiting Kryptonian Laputa?

And how about that huge fella to Zod’s right at the 26 second mark! That must be the hand that has Kal-El by the neck in the one previous trailer. I guess we will be getting a version of Non in there after all. Can’t wait.

Hans Zimmer may have out done him self. Loving the music, can’t wait to hear it all.
