Marc Forster is the Director of Bond 22!
Bond 22: Quantum of Solace (2008) Movie — By Nix on June 19, 2007
According to the chaps over at Entertainment Weekly, Swiss Marc Forster (”Monster’s Ball”, “Finding Neverland”) is the just-announced director of the upcoming Bond 22 movie. The as-yet-untitled 22nd installment in the never-say-die Bond franchise returns Daniel Craig as the new James Bond. Forster is currently directing “The Kite Runner”, adapted from Khaled Hosseini’s best-selling novel. When he finishes that and hops onboard the Bond wagon, Forster will be collaborating with screenwriter Paul Haggis, who worked on the previous Bond movie, “Casino Royale”, which also happened to be the highest grossing Bond film to date.
Some info on Forster from Wikipedia:
Marc Forster (born 1969 in Ulm, Germany) is a Swiss film director and screenwriter.
He was born the son of a Swiss doctor and a German architect and grew up in Davos, a winter resort in eastern Switzerland. Although he was born in Germany, he considers himself Swiss. The first film he saw in a cinema was Apocalypse Now by Francis Ford Coppola, when he was 12. He was so excited about it, that from that time on he didn’t hesitate when asked about his dream job: “Director”.
The last time we saw Bond, he had just gunned down a villain in cold blood, and, one presumes, on the trail to vengeance.
Besides directing the Award winning films “Monster’s Ball” and “Finding Neverland”, Forster is best known as the director who talked Halle Berry into taking it all off and performing one of the best simulated sex scene in cinematic history.
Thanks, Marc!

This blows. There goes one of the last films that doesn’t belittle masculinity. Politically Correct bullshi* in hiring a metro-sexual to direct James BOND.
I hope this pushes people’s buttons.
He directed “finding neverland”…jesus!
By the way I liked that movie, but that same guy shouldn’t go and make my James BOnd flicks as well.
Anyway, I got my two cents in. Someones must say it.
