Maria Bello Says Mummy 4 is Coming

While talking with MTV, Maria Bello, who replaces Rachel Weisz in the upcoming “Mummy 3: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor”, says that she is already signed for a whole series of new “Mummy” films, and she’s sure “Mummy 4″ is on its way very soon. And you know, for a woman usually known for more indie fare, she sure seems enthusiastic about getting tied up with a commercial franchise. I guess the money must be good.

Bello admits to having so much fun, in fact, that she’s looking forward to three more “Mummy” movies, confessing that she’s already signed on for a whole trilogy of sequels.
“I don’t know when, but it’s going,” she said. “[There will] absolutely be ‘The Mummy 4.’ ”
The box office for “Mummy 3″ should be good, given the fanbase of the franchise, so she’s probably right. I wouldn’t be surprised to hear the fourth installment announced after the film’s first weekend opening.

I am HATING Rachel Weisz right now!!! She’s such an idiot for declineing the role for THE MUMMY movies!! WHAT KIND OF PERSON WOULD DECLINE AN OFFER ON WORKING ON THE MUMMY MOVIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I Love the mummy movies they are great The Mummy and The Mummy Returns for seven years I was asking to my dad and to my self when are they were going to make another Mummy movie. I came Across yahoo in June and it said The Mummy Tomb of The Dragon Emperor I was excited since as soon as I saw that I made movie plans with my dad. Anyway everybody says The Mummy Tomb of The Dragon is going to be horrible but i fought back and said that it was going to be great! I can’t wait to see the new movie and even more excited to see The Mummy 4 (2010).
Mummy 3 is terrible, I will never watch mummy 4 unless Rachel come back.

I think that rob cohen sucks as a director for making the mummy movie go allover the world he should go back to egypt for imhoteps second return and make like a wierd clash between both of the mummys he really needs to get rachel back she had a better personality in the film but maria bello is really bad in the mummy 3 and she doesn’t portray the character of evie in the film very well,so she needs to stop daydreamng like shes the best in the mummy series and they need to get rachel back to make the movies better.
