Marvel Comics Characters Get the Tron Treatment

“Tron” is cool. Just ask the fat guy that dresses up in a Tron costume everytime he goes to one of those geek conventions. Marvel Comics thinks “Tron” is cool, too, and they’ve Tron-ized some of their characters a variant covers in some of their title, which includes:

Amazing Spider-Man #651, by Mark Brooks, in stores on Dec. 15.
Avengers #7, by Brandon Peterson, in stores on Nov. 17.
Avengers Academy #7, Brandon Peterson, in stores on Dec. 15.
Captain America #612, by Mark Brooks, in stores on Nov. 24.
Incredible Hulks #618, by Mark Brooks, in stores on Dec. 8.
Invincible Iron Man #33, by Brandon Peterson, in stores on Dec. 22.
New Avengers #7, by Mark Brooks, in stores on Nov. 17.
Secret Avengers #7, by Mark Brooks, in stores on Nov. 24.
Thor #617, by Brandon Peterson, in stores on Nov. 10.
Wolverine #4, by Brandon Peterson, in stores on Dec. 1.

I gotta admit, the Iron Man and Spider-Man ones look pretty good. The Thor one, though, is just a big “huh”?

“Tron: Legacy” lightcycles its way into theaters December 17, 2010.
